Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CarLog mobile app (the "App"). By downloading or using CarLog, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Using CarLog

CarLog is a personal tool for tracking your vehicle's fuel, expenses and reminders. You need an account (Google or email sign-in) to use the App. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for the accuracy of the information you enter.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Attempt to access, disrupt, reverse-engineer or interfere with the App, its servers or other users' data.
• Upload content that is illegal, infringing or harmful.

3. In-App Purchases

CarLog includes one vehicle for free. Additional vehicles can be unlocked through a one-time in-app purchase. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's terms. Purchases are non-refundable except where required by law or Apple's refund policy. Any refund requests must be made through Apple.

4. Your Data

You retain ownership of the data you enter into CarLog. Our handling of your information is described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for keeping your own records where needed; CarLog is a convenience tool, not a system of legal or financial record.

5. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that calculations (such as fuel economy or cost per km) are error-free or that the App will be uninterrupted or available at all times.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CarLog and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.

7. Termination

You may stop using CarLog at any time and request deletion of your account by emailing support@carlog.app. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be handled in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
